Hostel is located at Kalvin Ter, very well connected by public transport (metro, bus, tram). There is a real white rabbit living in the common room, which I found very cute. Owners are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious, towels are provided and you can rent the locker. Other services are available for a fee (breakfast, laundry). It is very cheap as well and you get more what it is worth for that price.
We've booked the hostel as needed a cheap place for sleep. the hostel is in a prefect location: 2 minutes walk from Kalvin ter, 5 minutes walk from Fovam ter (market). The owners are really nice people and helpful. You could find everything in the hostel you need for a stay (living room with PC, TV, WiFi working perfectly everywhere). The bathrooms were clean, also the rooms.
I would recommend this hostel if you need a place to take a shower and sleep over and you are traveling on budget.
This is my second stay here, and it is for me the best place to stay in Budapest. Close to the public transport, easy to find and located close to the centre. But it is Budapest, if you have problems with street noise ,use earplugs. The hostel is run by a couple, who want that you enjoy yourself. If you have any problem, ask them and they do their best to help you. They serve a breakfast, you even do not find in some hotels. If you want to cook yourself, you can, but who would, if you can have a very good dinner around the corner for not even 3 euro.
The bathrooms and toilets are very clean, the beds are perfect. The big living room is very comfortable. WiFi is good everywhere.
Do not expect a lot of luxery, than you might be better of in a hotel, but if you are on budget and want to enjoy Budapest a lot, this is the place to stay.
This is one of the dozens of "flat house" hostels in budapest, but this one is a bit special. Very home athmosphere. I think just bigger part of flat is used for hostel and other part is home of owners. I think there is a few long termers as well. You feel really like in someones home. Most of rooms and small kitchenette is a bit tired and maybe this kind of hotels is not for everyone, but i really liked this place. I felt like old budapestian :-)
Owners friendly and location is great! Few steps away from blue metro line (airport, nepliget station etc.), just next to famous market and beautiful bridge of liberty.
The hostel is really basic, for its price it's excellent although I would personally not choose this hostel for a stay, I came here only because I had thought booked a good hostel in Budapest and it turn out it did not gone through so at the airport by wifi I booked the cheapest and white rabbit was shown, I stayed only for the night and change the following mornin as early as could. Had few itch and bites in the mornin from the bed.
I appreciated the friendliness of the owners at the White Rabbit Hostel. They warmly welcomed me and I also enjoyed conversations with other guests staying there. The location and security are White Rabbit Hostel are great...just a short walk away from Geller Hill, several of Budapest's bridges, and Corvinus University. The shower was a bit cold, but this hostel definitely gave me an excellent deal for my money.
Here at white rabbit hostel you will have a nice stay. Its close to all of the places that you would need. Shower facilities are good, and clean, computer and other such facilities are also really good. The staff however have poor English, for me this was not an inconvenience it was an opportunity to try and learn some Hungarian. They were really helpful otherwise and it was a pleasure to spend time in their Hostel.
The hostel feels like home! And it is named white rabbit hostel because there's actually a cute white rabbit there in the living room! Although some of the staffs can't speak english, yet they'll try their best to assist you to everything during your stay. We also got double room instead of quadruple room that we've booked. One thing I don't like though is their shower (hard to regulate the temperature) but all in all it was a very pleasant stay. Totally recommended! :)
